Men followed by Women at Saks 5th Ave

Last Thursday I went to Saks Fifth Ave in the idea of attending two events in a row there. On different floors. I started around 620pm�at a very low key but nice reception thrown by Esquire and Black Label – Ralph Lauren on the Men’s floor obviously.�I am not going to post images as it was really basic- besides�a few�male models �sporting some cool Ralph Lauren gear and the manicure and shoe shine offered…to men’s only though…
So after a few cups of champagne and a little networking mission I went up the stairs and landed at the fabulous Wizard Of Oz party- Or from its full name: ” SAKS FIFTH AVENUE & WARNER BROS. STUDIOS unveil The Ruby Slippers Collection as the official kick-off to Mercedes -Benz Fashion Week in partnership with Crystallized Swarovski Elements ”

I really enjoyed the crowd- quite fashiony- some designers such as Betsey Johnson, a few Project Runway contestants from previous seasons apparently, some socialites as always- among them my favorite, Kristian Laliberte. Lots of cameras, bubbly and fabulous people made this an evening I will remember for a little while
I chose to leave around midnight because�I�had promised�to join a group of friends at these Summer Thursdays at Tavern on the Green- and I always keep my word. I am too good about that actually. But that’s a whole different story.
