Dare I say the this terrible economy isn’t having much impact on me-Let me explain I had no money before and therefore have always been a fabulous recessionista! Except that now it is “in” to deem yourself recessionista.
Just like me, you have always been thrifty and somewhat frugal without showing it all all. Anyone who sees me would think I am quite wealthy but actually I just became good at pretending and playing the part. It is almost a certain type of art. To me the main positive side of the current situation is the massive ongoing sale going on everywhere
Change is coming though- New year, new president bringing high hopes for the future of the country after the disaster created by Bush’s administartion. Therefore I am hoping that this new word becomes out of fashion as soon as it became in! It won’t change the situation in itself- at least not before quite some time- and I am sure I as many americans will stays a recessionista at heart but at least we may be able to save some money again and will no longer leave in the fear of losing our jobs.
Before I pick my outfit for tonight’s inauguration event I’d like to share my “make it trough recession” fave website Shop It To Me where you pick your brands, your size and the minimum percentage off you will buy at. I received my personalized listing this morning and almost got the Rebecca Minkoff clutch I crave- the stripe Rendez-Vous. Get it here for barely over $100
