Hamptons Undercover 2009 series

filed under: Eventista, Hamptons

After such an amazingly sunny weekend it seems like it was a while back that I stopped at Cain for the latest Hamptons Undercover event-February 26th, the date in itself screams cold and winter but the word “Hamptons” made me realize we only have a few months before being able to enjoy the sun.
After receiving my invite I made sure that someone from all the sharehouses I am considering being involved with would be present so I could shop around while having and great time and doing my constant social networking.
I arrived to Cain after the one hour only open bar ended which didn’t prevent me from having a great time catching up with peers I hadn’t seen in months. I have to admit I was a bit surprised that the event wasn’t open bar for the three hours it lasted but I guess that with the recession sponsors are not pouring down the money on drinks. And most people have noticed major changes in the event world.
I am still not sure how come I left with a gift bag since I didn’t know about the lottery drawing and didn’t provide my business card but all I can say is that my overnight guests will now enjoy a luxurious hotel bathrobe courtesy of Caesars Atlantic City.
While at Cain I browsed through a copy of sponsor, Gradient magazine which reminded me I still really enjoy the interesting features from the publication even though I always forgot to pick it up in one of their selected retail locations – Check out their website for more info on what they do and where to find them. Too bad I forgot my copy at Cain.
Writing this piece reminds me that I haven’t updated my Hamptons Undercover profile since last time I attended one of their event! If you don’t remember about it just click here for more info on my last epxerience from Hamptons Undercover

As usual you will find plenty of pictures from this lovely get together anticipating the summer on Famegame and the usual GoaG review and more…

Last but not least, one of the sponsor, MINT- reminded me of the European car renting concept that has been implemented in several cities across Europe for years. The convenience of on demand smart cars is now available at http://drivemint.com/.

Overall the get together was smaller than I expected but very enjoyable- a perfect starter for a Thursday night at B8.
