Kara Ross website celebration

I braved the heat on August 19th to attend the Kara Ross NY website launch reception and I can say I am glad I did. Right after being welcomed by a charming team, Kara walked me through her line of creations which were each more gorgeous than the others- bold yet classic. Kara’s vision of beauty shows through her elegant collection of jewelry and handbags. The use of fine material and exotic skins (stingray, alligator,python) makes each creation extremely interesting. Many pieces involves a mix of gemstones (such as Hematite, Tiger’s eye, coral, white agate and more )- due to Kara Ross’s gemology background- , metal and skins which makes the collection very uniquely appealing. Kara’s experiments with diverse materials gives life to the Kara Ross 2010 Resort Collection features drop dead gorgeous python clutches in vibrant colors, river rocks jewels, straws  and tie-dye purses, and a “cityscapes” inspired line. Easily wearable day or night and sold at a reasonable price point for creations involving detailed craftmanship, hand painted pieces and such distinctive designs.

I have been enjoying a lovely pair of earrings from Kara Ross collection and I can say the brand will stay on my “to watch” list especially in the “vintage meets modern” area.
