Bravo TV launch of The Bra Book

The rain didn't prevent a hip crowd to attend The Bra Book launch party hosted by Bravo and The Blaq Group Wednesday evening. The event which took place in the restaurant of the Charles Hotel was filmed for the TV network as part of Chris March of Project’s Runway’s upcoming show. To that effect Chris specially designed a Bra dress for Bra and style expert Jené Luciani- the white and pink creation boasted about 200 bras and was created more as a fun showpiece than a stylish outfit as it made her look like a giant strawberry- she looked stunning nonetheless and even though she was the star of the night for the launch of The Bra Book she seemed to enjoy herself very much and had a great time mingling with her guests.
The lovely Kat DeLuna was one of the notable attendees and just like most guests she signed up for her free back massage courtesy of Oasis Day Spa. I usually don't care for VIPs but as she appeared very low key and personable I told her how I enjoyed her performance at the SACHIKA show back during Fashion Week.

Nuvo provided a selection of signature cocktails while savory hors d'oeuvres were passed around- the sweet lovers were not left aside with towers of cupcakes and a candy booth by Ooh La La Candy.

The gift bag was filled with girlie goodies including underwear, beauty products, camiband, Kuza straps, a pair of silver linings which I can't wait to try as I have heard ravings about the protecting shoe liners and a little gadget that will turn out useful for bisannual sales shopping- a Bra Book Shopper's Tote which enables you to carry all you shopping bags on one convenient handle.
